The Invermere Valley Echo wants to see the best photo from yesterday’s snow storm and is giving away a $25 Canadian Tire gift certificate to one that best depicts this storm. It can be anything from shovelling out your driveway to having fun with the kids in the snow. There are no rules about what it can be; it just has to be about the snow and the massive amounts that we received.

“We just want to have some fun with this,” said Regional Publisher Chuck Bennett. “The weather is always a big story, and this storm is certainly the biggest story so far for 2015 so we wanted to share some of the images of people in our community and how they are dealing with it.”

Please send your photos along with your name and a brief description (and it doesn’t have to be just one — send as many as you like) to editor@InvermereValleyEcho.com.

Watch for the winner, which will be announced on the Invermere Valley Echo website next Monday (January 12th). Photos will also be posted to the site as they come in. Look in next Wednesday’s Invermere Valley Echo for the winning photo and for more photos from the entries.

Good luck!
