Yvonne passed away peacfully on February 23, 2009 at the Dr. Gerald Zeteer care centre in Edmonton, AB at the age of 79 years. Yvonne was a devoted and loving wife to Zdnek, mother to Peter and John (Laura) and grandmother to Natalie. Yvonne will be sadly missed by her brothers, and sisters – Joyce Wells, Don Redhead (Pat), Joan Davis (Keith) Margaret Brinkler, and Barbara Hare (Terry), all in England; Bryan Redhead (Olga) in Invermere and brother in law Colin Fitzjohn in Winnipeg. She will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada, England, and around the world, and by her many friends. Yvonne was predeceased by her parents, Percy and Louisa, and her older sister Ivy Fitzjohn. Yvonne will be lovingly remembered by her cooking, creativity, gardening, love of the mountains, friendly voice and her welcoming ways. A celebration of life will be held ay 2 p.m. Saturday February 28, 20009 ay Westlawn Chapel – Stony Plain Rd. Edmonton, AB. If friends so desire a donation can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
