Cameron: – Janet Louise passed away on July 21, 2009 after a brief battle with cancer. Jan was predeceased by her mother, Irene Cameron and father Doug Cameron. She is survived by her brother Stuart Cameron. Jan was a private person, but had a heart of gold underneath her gruff exterior and once she liked you, you were always her friend. She had a very full life and enjoyed travel, darts, golf and curling. In her early years Jan was involved in the Hang Gliding community and traveled throughout the world to competitions, making many life long friends. She was a talented knitter and if you were fortunate enough to receive one of her sweaters, you knew you had something special. Jan worked for the BC Forest Service for many years in various capacities, most recently as an Aviation Specialist and formed many close friendships within the aviation community. Jan will be dearly missed by all of her family and many, many friends. No service requested but a wake will be held in the near future (TBA).
