Eileen Tegart, born April 11, 1924, passed away surrounded by her daughters on May 28, 2009. Born in Invermere to Percy and Nora Docking, Eileen married Allen John Tegart in Kimberley on January 14, 194s4. The couple had three daughters, Donna (Wayne) Alston, Jacqueline (Wayne) Brown, Colleen (Jeffrey) Fraser and one son, Randy. Eileen was predeceased by her father Percy, her husband Allen and her son Randy. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth, her three daughters, 11 grandchildren (Colin, Lisa, Julie, Kari, Sandra, Allen, Rebecca, Heather, Brandi, Michael and Steven) and 14 great-grandchildren (Ryan, Kevin, Alex, Laura, Holly, Christopher, Jack, Emily, Eljah, Lily, Maya, Luke, Hunter and Sydney). Over the years Eileen was involved in the Royal Canadian Legion, the Mount Swansea Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Christ Church Anglican, Kinettes, Good Sam’s, various cancer projects and the community.

Services will be held at Christ Church Trinity on June 13, 2009 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers please donate to Columbia House, the Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s.
