World-renowned Shuswap dancer Ernie Philip danced for a group of dignitaries, students and guests at David Thompson Secondary School. DTSS hosted a Powwow on April 21 which brought together students from almost all local schools along with local First Nations residents.

All those in attendance were given the chance to watch and also take part in some of the traditional parts of the ceremony.
