If you’re passionate about Invermere’s urban deer, there’s a new way to get involved in the district’s wildlife management plans.

The District of Invermere is looking for five volunteers to form a permanent Urban Deer Committee that would run an annual deer count, draft strategies to prevent human-deer conflict, and oversee the trap and cull programs that were approved by council this summer.
