Celebrate Father’s Day by howling with the wolves!  The Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre in Golden, British Columbia, is hosting the 9th Annual Open House, on June 19, 2011. From Noon – 5:00 p.m. there will be interpretive programs and displays, lots of great door prizes, barbecue, fun and games, kids’ crafts, and a local artisans’ fair. Admission is FREE!

The Wolf Centre is home to seven grey wolves; including Willow the newest member of the pack.  The Centre’s mission is to promote wolf awareness and conservation through public education. Northern Lights Wildlife Centre is open to the public year-round, offering interpretive talks, educational programs for schools, and unique opportunities to photograph wolves in a natural setting.

This year’s key speaker is award-winning author Jeff Gailus.
