The Fairmont and District Lions Club held yet another successful golf tournament and fundraise rat Coy’s Par 3 Golf Course on June 25.

The Lions Club presented the East Kootenay Foundation for health a cheque for $5,500 to get the ball rolling on a new digital mammography machine for the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.

The men’s tourney winner was Lee Klas Jr., and the women’s tourney winner Pat McCormick.
