The Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life is fast-approaching, with the event set to happen on June 11.

Fairmont Hot Springs Resort will be supporting the cause again this year with a team entering the Relay.

A fundraiser for the Relay for Life will also be held at the Resort all day on May 28.

For every pool ticket bought on May 28, $1 will be donated towards the Relay for Life. One dollar from every round of golf on the three Fairmont Resort golf  courses will be donated to the Relay as well.

A barbecue will be located at the BC Rockies Base Camp by the outdoor tennis court from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., serving up some delicious food to compliment the day.

All food at the barbecue was donated by Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, and proceeds from the barbecue sales will be donated to the Relay.

Marketing Co-ordinator at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort Kira Kulicki says attending the fundraiser event is a great way to have fun and enjoy the May Saturday with golf or swimming, all while supporting a great cause at the same time.
